Meet Ryan

Ryan invests and partners with founders looking to create civilization-scale impact. 

He takes a high-touch, first principles approach to investing, leveraging his personal experience as a founder, engineer and partner to many companies he's worked with from inception while at Eclipse. He’s intensely motivated by the impact startups have on real long-term economic growth, and thinks industrial sectors have outsized opportunity and importance.

Prior to Eclipse, Ryan co-founded and built Kojo (fka Agora), a construction supply chain SaaS product for trade contracts, which has served over $4B in construction material volume and raised over $90M. As CTO, he delivered a market defining product to hundreds of contractors across the U.S., along with building and leading a world class engineering, product and design team.

Earlier in his career, Ryan spent time building hardware in world-class organizations, and spent time as an investor at 8VC, where he fell in love with the world of startups. He was raised outside of Toronto, Canada, and has a BASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
